The MetaSyn Network was founded on a simple conviction: that every clinician has the capacity and the responsibility to contribute to the body of knowledge that shapes care for patients they will never meet.
Formed in 2020 at St George’s University of London by Dr Hayato Nakanishi, Dr Christian Than, and Dr Reem Mater, MetaSyn was built to bring together like-minded individuals passionate about contributing to the scientific literature that forms the foundation of evidence-based medicine.
Through research acumen and a shared commitment to clinical excellence, our vision is a global network of clinicians driven by genuine passion, to treat not only the patients they encounter every day, but to shape outcomes for countless patients they will never see, through the lasting impact of academic contribution.
